Nottingham Forest players Joe Lolley and Ben Osborn met some of the city's rough sleepers and visited some of the city centre's rough sleeping sites to help raise awareness for World Homeless Day.
The midfield duo were shown the locations by members the outreach team from homelessness charity Framework, before they met some residents at the Framework hostel in London Road.
Ben Osborn believes it is really important to raise awareness of the issue and to help Framework make a difference.
He said: "It is massive. Homelessness is a big problem in this country and the numbers are rising.
"There are more and more people becoming homeless which makes it so important for associations like Framework, getting hostels like this where people can stay and take that first step back into normality almost.
"It is huge and raising awareness can only be a good thing."
Framework are Nottingham Forest's 2018-19 charity partner and they are a Nottingham-based charity that helps people to live stable, independent and fulfilled lives.
