New Nottingham Forest signing Karim Ansarifard is eager to test himself in English football having penned a deal until the summer of 2020.
The Iranian international joins up with Aitor Karanka’s side and is excited about joining a big club such as Forest.
He said: “I am really so happy and so proud to be part of this club, this historic club, and I think it will be an amazing season for me to try my best here and give 100 per cent in every single game. I cannot wait to start with Nottingham Forest at The City Ground.
“I know English football is one of the top leagues in the whole world, and I know how competitive and how difficult it is. There is lots of competition and it is really tough. I think it will be really hard but I am ready to work hard and try my best in each game and in each training session to be fit and trying my best for the team.
“I never judge myself, but one thing I can promise to the fans is that I will try my best in every game and I will give my all; hopefully I can make them happy. My position is a striker so my job is to score and I will try my best to score in every game and try to help my teammates on the pitch.”
