City Ground action for Under 23s on Monday night

25 November 2018

Nottingham Forest Under 23s return to The City Ground on Monday evening to take on Sheffield Wednesday in the Professional Development League (kick-off 7pm).

The Reds were cruelly denied a point at Burnley last Monday after conceding in the 97th minute in a 4-3 win for The Clarets and will be looking to return to winning ways against The Owls.

Jimmy Gilligan’s side currently sit in 7th place in the league table with Wednesday in 8th, meaning a win for The Reds would see them pull away from their opponents who are level on points.

Sheffield Wednesday are without a win in their last three games after suffering a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Yorkshire rivals Barnsley last time out, but will provide a difficult test on Monday.

Admission is free for all supporters and can be gained via the Brian Clough Stand turnstiles. A limited number of car parking spaces are also available behind the stand.

There will be live updates via the Nottingham Forest Academy Twitter account and a match report at the full-time whistle at nottinghamforest.co.uk.
