Adlene Guedioura says that Nottingham Forest must only focus on the next game as Ipswich visit The City Ground this weekend.
A point at Aston Villa in midweek saw The Red climb into the top six but Guedioura knows that it is a long season and they must take it one game at a time.
He said: “We focus and train and think about the next game. The manager as well makes us think about the next game straight away and puts us in position to focus on the next game.
“We are improving game after game. We have only had two losses so far and in comparison to last season, it has been a big improvement.
“We want to improve, it is not finished. The manager said that we have no limit and I agree; if we keep going like this, step by step, we will have a bigger and stronger team.”
Forest now face back-to-back home games and if they can get two victories from these games against Ipswich and Preston, Guedioura feels that the win at Hull and point at Aston Villa in the last week will look even better.
He said: “We need to keep going. We have two home games now and that is really important. If we win those games, this point will be a really enjoyable.
“We have a good points tally, we are happy with that but the next two games at home, starting against Ipswich, will be tough and if we win them both we will be with 10 points in the last four games and that is what we want.”
