Ben Osborn said he was overwhelmed to have been named as the club’s Player of the Season and to be joining an illustrious list of previous winners.
The midfielder clinched the award after more than 2,500 Forest fans had their say and he said that he is happy to have been recognised by the fans.
He said: "It is a great achievement; it feels good. It has not been the best season collectively, I have done as well as I can and played in a number of positions.
"I am happy to have featured for most of the season and to get some credit off the fans means a lot.
"There are some legends that have won it previously so it is nice to sneak my name on the trophy. I am overwhelmed really that I have got it.
