Nottingham Forest can confirm four new appointments to Aitor Karanka’s first-team staff.
Simon Ireland has joined the club as a first-team coach, switching from Queens Park Rangers where he spent almost three years as head of coaching and taking charge of the Under 18s. He has also been Brighton's Under 21s manager and assistant academy manager at Blackburn Rovers.
Carlos Cachada has been appointed as the club's new first-team fitness coach, with the Portuguese reuniting with Karanka after the pair worked together at Middlesbrough.
Juan Vila Seoane joins as first-team senior analyst, also having worked with Karanka at Middlesbrough and having had spells in Spain with Deportivo, Valencia and Mallorca while Jose Miguel Marcos Costoso joins as a first-team assistant analyst after a spell working in the Armenian Premier League.
