Matty Cash hopes Nottingham Forest can pick up where they left off against Arsenal when they take on Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Reds return to Sky Bet Championship action after their Emirates FA Cup exploits last weekend and Cash knows it will be a tough test against Steve Bruce's side.
He said: "It is going to be another massive game on Saturday with another great atmosphere. We just have to keep playing well, do what we did well last Sunday and it will be a tough game.
"We know Villa's strengths and we know our strengths and we just have to put on a performance and hopefully get the win.
"It is going to be tough. We have played them a few times and we know they are a good side. We just have to focus on us and do what we do, focus on what the gaffer wants and hopefully we will win."
The midfielder has been impressed by Aitor Karanka since the Spaniard was appointed as the club's new manager.
"It has been good," he added. "We did our first session with him on Wednesday and we trained well yesterday. We are just getting used to the things that the gaffer likes, the way he plays and things like that and it has started really well.
"He has won promotion from the Championship before which is massive. That is what we want to do here and we have to strive towards that. We just have to keep winning as many games as we can and look forward."
