Be bold

19 January 2018

Kieran Dowell says Nottingham Forest need to be bold when they travel to Molineux to take on Wolves tomorrow.

The Reds lost 1-0 to Aston Villa last weekend and Dowell is keen for Forest to show what they can do against the league leaders.

He said: "It was a good, high-intensity game but we were unlucky not to get a result in the end last weekend.

"On our day we can beat anyone and that is the mentality we have got to go into the game with.

"It is about adapting to different styles of play. We face Wolves who will want to play with the ball and so will we, so it should be a good match.

"It is a massive game. Wolves are flying at the top of the league but we back ourselves against them. We will take the game to them and hopefully we will get a good result."

The Everton loanee knows that by stringing a few results together, Forest can climb towards the top end of the table and that The Reds can't be written off for a play-off place.

He said: "The quality in our changing room is very good and it is all about getting the consistency in the league. If we can do that, we will fly up the table.

"If you win a few games in a row you can get that momentum, fly up the league and be around the play-off places. You can't write us off. It is a run of games and then you get the confidence and momentum."
