Nottingham Forest’s Adlene Guedioura said it was a game to forget for The Reds as they suffered a 2-0 defeat against Hull City yesterday.
Two first-half goals proved costly as Forest were defeated in a disappointing display at The City Ground, and Guedioura knows they must put the result behind them and move on quickly.
Speaking after the game, he said: "It was a frustrating performance. We started well but then there was the penalty and from then we were not patient. We had a good chance but it is a game to forget.
"We need to work hard, change a few things and hopefully in the next game we will get the win. We have to show more, especially at home.
"It is a frustration for us, we wanted to show we are better than this, and we have another game on Saturday where we can show we are better."
The defeat stretched The Reds' winless run to four in all competitions and Guedioura said the team spirit can help them through.
"We have a good team spirit," he added. "We just need some wins. Wins make everything better and we need that winning mentality as it is so important. This is a big loss, we are upset but now we need to move on and work hard to win the next game.
"When you see each part of the team, we have young players with good quality and good talent, and the experienced players we have as well, we hope that it is a good mix of this and that it will work.
"We can only move forward, that is the only way we can do it and change this run. We don't want a bad run like this. We just have to pull our sleeves up and work hard to change it."
