Adlene Guedioura said it is an amazing feeling to return to a club he loves after signing for Nottingham Forest on deadline day.
The midfielder joins from Middlesbrough and says he can't wait to start his third spell at the club.
He said: "It feels amazing. I couldn't wait to come back. I tried many times to come back here and now it is done, I am so happy and I can't wait to start training tomorrow, see my teammates; it has been a long couple of days and now I am here, I can't wait.
"I love this club. I have been here before and it was always emotional when I played here, even when I came here with other teams. The project of this club is a good one and the new manager as well, he convinced me to come here.
"They say good things come in threes, this is my third time signing here so hopefully good things are coming."
The 32-year-old was signed by Aitor Karanka during his time at Middlesbrough and said the manager played a bit part in his return.
He said: "He was important but when you speak to me about Nottingham Forest my eyes are always wide open. The manager was a big part of my decision as well and hopefully we can start well tomorrow.
"The City Ground is a very special place. I have good memories but now it is a new challenge, a new project and I want to do good things here. I hope to show the fans and everyone that we have a good future here."
