FA Youth Cup third round: Maidenhead vs Forest

11 December 2018

Nottingham Forest Under 18s travel to Berkshire on Tuesday evening to take on Maidenhead United at York Road in the third round of the FA Youth Cup (kick-off 7.45pm).

Gareth Holmes’s side are in great form at the moment, making it three wins from three in the Professional Development League on Saturday after a convincing 4-2 win over Bolton Wanderers at the Nigel Doughty Academy, and head to Maidenhead full of confidence.

The home side will provide tough opposition for The Reds however, after beating Torquay United 3-1 in the last round, making it the first time they have made it this far in the Youth Cup.

The winner of the tie will travel to either Clevedon Town or Manchester City in the fourth round.

Admission will be priced at £5 for adults, £3 concessions and £1 for Under 16s.

There will be live updates via the Nottingham Forest Academy Twitter account and a match report at the full-time whistle at nottinghamforest.co.uk.
