Steele signs for The Reds

Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Luke Steele on a two-year contract.

The 33-year-old joins the club after leaving Bristol City at the end of last season and will take his place in Aitor Karanka's squad ahead of the 2018-19 season.

After initially starting out at Peterborough, Steele joined Manchester United as a youngster and went on to play for Coventry and West Brom before starring for Barnsley as they reached the FA Cup semi-finals in 2008.

A spell in Greece followed with Panathinaikos where he featured in the Europa League before he signed for Bristol City at the start of the 2017-18 campaign, featuring in ten games in all competitions and playing a key part in The Robins' run to the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
