Joe Lolley says he cannot wait to get back out in front of The City Ground crowd when Nottingham Forest take on Reading on Saturday.

There was a great atmosphere on Trentside for the draw with West Brom on Tuesday and Lolley feels that with the fans' backing, The Reds can get the result they want.

He said: "The atmosphere was fantastic, since I have been here the fans have been brilliant.

"Even though we didn't have the best of years last year, they still turned out in their numbers and they feel the excitement of this year.

"The season cards have sold so well so to have that noise behind you, it galvanises you and gives you those few extra yards.

"If we can get that on a consistent basis throughout the season then I am sure it will only help us."

The winger is expecting a difficult test against The Royals but after two draws, he feels that the first win of the season is right around the corner.

"It will be a tough game," he said. "A lot of us watched their game against Derby and we thought for most of it they were the better side.

"They played with a lot of intensity. Every game is difficult but they played well against a good Derby side so I think it will be a tough game but we will go out to win.

"We have played two games and from both of them, we have come out thinking we should have won.

"We need to convert those draws into wins but the performances are there; the quality, the work rate and everyone is pulling in the same direction so it will only be a matter of time."
