Tough test at Hillsborough

9 September 2017

Mark Warburton is under no illusions that Sheffield Wednesday will provide a stern test for his side at Hillsborough later today.

Wednesday have had an indifferent start to the season but the Forest boss knows it is too early to judge teams and their points totals.

He said: "It is a relentless league and if you look at the fixtures now, it could be a Premier League fixture list. You have to do your homework and prepare appropriately for each and every game. If you don't, you get found out and anybody can beat anybody.

"It is early days and they have a talented squad. They have added to the squad and there is no doubt about the threat they pose us. It is a tough place to go and a historical ground but for us it is about us. We will do our homework, prepare well and focus on our level of performance.

"They have a strike force that contains the likes of Hooper, Fletcher, Rhodes and Forestieri so it is a very talented squad. We know that we have to be disciplined, solid and compact defensively and bright and positive offensively."
