Nottingham Forest Community Trust has been recognised for its excellent work in the community at a regional business awards event.
The Trust picked up the Community Impact award at the East Midlands Chamber Nottinghamshire Business Awards 2017 for the work it does in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Calum Osborne, Chief Operating Officer, said: "We are delighted to receive this award in recognition of our hard work and passion for improving people's lives in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
"Our team of dedicated staff work tirelessly to engage and inspire local people through the positive work that we do and this award is a fantastic achievement and acknowledges all of their efforts.
"We receive excellent support from Nottingham Forest Football Club and we hope that all Forest fans feel as excited about the future as we do."
The Trust delivers a wide variety of community based programmes to support people of all abilities and ages living and working in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, such as health interventions for disadvantaged people, raising levels of academic attainment for children and young people and increasing participation through activity sessions to develop a life-long love of sport and physical activity.
