Mark Warburton is ready to get straight back into Championship action after the international break as Nottingham Forest head to Sheffield Wednesday.
The Reds begin a relentless run of fixtures at Hillsborough on Saturday and the Forest boss knows that they need to take it one game at a time.
He said: "We were delighted to welcome the players back and they have trained hard with good quality, good intensity and you hope they can take that into Saturday's game.
"The games come thick and fast and if you look at our schedule it is very intense. They are great games to be involved in but we have to make sure that we get the loading right and that we use the squad accordingly.
"You have to focus on one game at a time. The obvious danger is the Chelsea game, with fans saying that they can't wait for Stamford Bridge. That's fantastic against the Premier League champions at a fantastic stadium, but right now there are three vital games ahead of that.
"The focus has to totally be on Sheffield Wednesday then we move forward from there. It is a tough run of games but we have to enjoy it and we have to utilise the squad to make sure we are as fit, fresh and sharp as we possibly can be."
