Worrall pens new deal

24 October 2017

Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce that defender Joe Worrall has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The Nottingham-born defender has come through the club's academy and has penned a new four-and-a-half-year deal to keep him at The City Ground until 2022.

Worrall, 20, made his first-team debut for his hometown club last season and has gone on to feature 27 times in the Garibaldi, including captaining The Reds against Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season.

He has also gained international recognition, captaining England to success at the Toulon Tournament in the summer and making his England Under 21s debut earlier this month.
