Clough and Osborn visit primary school

11 October 2017

Nottingham Forest stars Zach Clough and Ben Osborn visited Welbeck Primary School in Nottingham on Tuesday ahead of the match with Burton Albion.

The Reds duo took part in a question and answer session with pupils before signing various items and handing out ticket vouchers for the clash with The Brewers on Saturday 21st October.

Around 30 pupils from Year 5 and 6 classes took part in the visit, with Clough and Osborn also hosting a training session with the Nottingham Forest Community Trust.

Class teacher Rebekah White said: "It was absolutely fantastic for the children to have the opportunity to work alongside young professional footballers. The children gained so much from the question and answer session and it was really interesting for them to hear and understand how it feels when things go well, but also when they don't always go to plan.

"It fitted in perfectly with our character curriculum strengths that we are developing in school such as resilience, motivation and self-awareness.

"The children also loved developing their football skills and it was amazing to watch them interact with Ben Osborn and Zach Clough. It was certainly an event that the children will remember forever!

"We would like to thank everyone at Forest and hope to do more work with you in the future."

Tickets for those aged 17 and under are available for just £5 for the match with Burton, with the discounted ticket price also available for students and those aged 65 and over.
