Tyler Walker feels like his hard work has been rewarded after he scored two goals in the 4-0 win over QPR on Saturday.
The forward hit his first league goals at The City Ground and he now wants to build on his first league start of the season.
He said: "It was a massive game for us and I thought we played really well. We did what we had to do, we were clinical and we put the chances away and we were all buzzing with the win.
"It was awesome. I had only scored one at The City Ground before in the cup so to do it in a league game was awesome and I was really happy with it."
He added: "As players you have got to work for the team and I have been coming off the bench and trying to do my bit. I got the chance at the weekend, I wanted to take it and I think I did.
"You want to be rewarded for your hard work and I feel like I have been working my socks off. Hopefully I can repay the manager for the faith he has put in me, build on it and kick on."
