Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Jordan Smith says he is looking forward to testing himself against promotion-chasing Brighton at The City Ground tomorrow.
Smith says a positive week in training has boosted the mood in the camp as The Reds look to build on an away point and clean sheet at Wigan Athletic by upsetting the odds against The Seagulls.
He said: "It is going to be a massive test. We have looked at their game with Newcastle on Tuesday night and seen what they are about. It would be naïve for me to say that I haven’t looked at their firepower and they are where they are because they have scored a lot of goals. We have respect for them but the belief is there that we can go and win the game.
"It is strange as you go through different dynamics as the season goes on. We had a lull earlier on but the biggest thing is that everyone is buying into the project that Gary, Jack and Pagey are putting forward and we are seeing the rewards and it is a shame that we aren’t getting the results so the fans can see that as well."
Read the full interview with Jordan in tomorrow's Forest Review as he talks about making his senior debut, how David Seaman and Joe Hart have shaped his career and what loan spells at Ilkeston and Nuneaton taught him.
The programme also features the thoughts of manager Gary Brazil and midfielder Chris Cohen, the lowdown on the visitors from the Amex Stadium and regular columnists Danny Taylor, David Marples and Richard Harrison.
The 76-page edition of Forest Review costs just £3 and is available from sellers around The City Ground before kick-off, or you can purchase the e-edition here:
