Nottingham Forest striker Ben Brereton has been called up to the England Under 19s squad for the first time as one of eight Forest players to be selected for international duty.
Brereton has impressed in his 10 appearances for The Reds this season and will be part of the squad for the matches against Norway on Wednesday 22 March, Spain on Friday 24 March and Belarus on Monday 27 March.
Midfielder Jamie Ward has been called up to represent Northern Ireland in their World Cup qualifier against Norway on Sunday 26 March and Mustapha Carayol will be part of the Gambia squad for the matches against Morocco on Thursday 23 March and Central African Republic on Monday 27 March.
Three other players have been called up to the senior squads of their countries for upcoming World Cup qualifiers. Vladimir Stojkovic will represent Serbia against Georgia, Thomas Lam will be part of the Finland squad for the match against Turkey, both on Friday 24 March, and Apostolos Vellios has been called up to represent Greece for their clash with Belgium on Saturday 25 March.
Alex Iacovitti is part of the Scotland Under 21 squad that will face Estonia on Tuesday 28 March and goalkeeper Tim Erlandsson, who is on loan at Swedish side AFC Eskilstuna, has been called up to represent Sweden Under 21s for their fixture with Serbia on Friday 24 March.
