Tricky Talk: Back at it

Day four of Nottingham Forest's pre-season training camp at the IMG Academy in Florida.

8 July 2017

With the players' bodies recovered on Thursday morning and back up to speed by the afternoon, it was straight back into the hard work on Friday.

Stretches and flexibility exercises down at the beach started the day before a tough level five session at the IMG Academy.

Mark Warburton and his coaching staff were delighted with the squad's levels of work since arriving Stateside and they showed yet again that they are working at exceptionally high levels to be prepared for the new season.

Two-hours of intense work on the training pitch focused on working with the ball in tight spaces and creating opportunities to score while under pressure.

The level of intensity that the players showed was fantastic in the difficult conditions and, after reaching their targets for their work levels, took part in a team-bonding fishing trip in the afternoon.

The whole group sailed around eight miles off the coast and into the Gulf of Mexico to catch fish, with a competitive edge added as they competed in teams.

Spirits were high as fish were caught and Dimitar Evtimov proved he could catch more than just crosses with his impressive haul of fish.

The club donated the day's fishing to the Salvation Army food bank before a group dinner by the marina ended the day ahead of the weekend.
