Catering vacancies at Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest Football Club are recruiting casual staff to work within their catering team on matchdays.

The club are looking for team leaders, supervisors, bar staff, waiting staff and kiosk staff. As a progressive and lively company, Forest welcome applicants who are enthusiastic, energetic and are keen to join a dedicated and hardworking team. You will work at the heart of a busy event and be expected to deliver excellent customer service to our clients and guests.

Due to the nature of event catering, the club are not in a position to offer full or part-time work and it will be offered on a casual basis. This means that work will be offered when the club have matches, banqueting, corporate or private functions.

Forest set high standards which they constantly strive to improve and the club's staff are the key to the success of the operation.

- Kiosk staff

Vacancies: Matchday chefs and kitchen porters

Nottingham Forest are looking for matchday chefs to work at The City Ground at the heart of one of the county's busiest sporting venues.

Offering good rates of pay, successful applicants must have the following qualities:

- Be reliable, committed, flexible and hard-working

- Be able to work alone and as part of a team

- Be able to work Saturdays and some weekday evenings

Successful applicants must have the following:

- A food hygiene certificate

- Knowledge of allergens

- At least three years of experience at chef de parties in a very busy kitchen environment

Duties will include the following:

- Working in one of five kitchens on a matchday

- Making sure you are ready for service as the kitchen are situated around the stadium

- Making sure the kitchen is clean and tidy before you leave

- Adhere to all the food safety standards


Nottingham Forest are also looking for hard-working and reliable individuals with previous experience of kitchen portering within a busy professional kitchen to work at The City Ground.

Duties will include the following:

- Washing up, cleaning and removing rubbish

- Pot-washing and operating dishwashers

- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
