Nottingham Forest Under 18s travel to the bet365 Stadium this evening for their FA Youth Cup fourth-round clash against Stoke City (kick-off 7pm).
After overcoming Ipswich Town in the previous round, Gareth Holmes's side now make the step up to face The Potters on their own turf but the head coach says his players are more than ready for the occasion.
Speaking this morning he said: "We are all really looking forward to the game but we're not overawed by the challenge. We are confident in our own ability and we have belief that the players will go out there and give it their all.
"Stoke are one of the few Category 1 clubs who are playing their FA Youth Cup games at their main stadium so that shows the respect they have for the competition and we in turn have a lot of respect for them.
"They are a physical outfit with a lot of good players and their budget is quite significantly higher than ours. We have some great weapons in our arsenal though and if we go there and perform to our normal high standards then we are confident we can make it through."
The FA Youth Cup fourth round has provided some memorable nights in recent years with Tyler Walker's stunning hat-trick earning a 3-0 win at West Bromwich Albion two years ago while last season Forest beat Birmingham City at the same stage courtesy of a goal from Gerry McDonagh.
Tickets for tonight's game will only be available on arrival at the ground and these will be priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
