Under 18s: Leeds 0-0 Forest

22 January 2017

Nottingham Forest Under 18s earned a point on Saturday afternoon courtesy of a 0-0 draw at Leeds United.

With Gareth Holmes stepping up to take charge of the Under 23s for their game against Brighton on Monday night, his assistant Jake Wigley was at the helm for the Under 18s' trip to Yorkshire.

It was a game a few goalscoring opportunities for both sides but it was an important point for The Reds as they extended their unbeaten run in the Professional Development League to four matches.

The result sees Forest keep their place at the top of the table and their next game takes place at the Nigel Doughty Academy on Saturday (28 January, kick-off 11am) when they take on second-placed Sheffield United.

Forest: J. Wright, Willetts, Preston (C.Smith 40'), Re (c), Jemson, Harbottle, En-Neyah, Taylor, McClean, Johnson, McCormick
