Under 18s: Forest 0-3 Sheffield United

Nottingham Forest Under 18s were knocked off top spot in the Professional Development League following a 3-0 home defeat to Sheffield United on Saturday.

The visitors took the lead with only four minutes on the clock through Horatio Hirst and doubled their advantage midway through the first half as striker Jordan Hallam placed the ball past Jordan Wright in the Forest goal.

The Blades were looking to reclaim their position at the top of the table and they secured all three points on 57 minutes courtesy of a goal from Tyler Smith to bring Forest's unbeaten league run to an end.

Forest will be hoping to bounce back from this latest defeat when they travel to Birmingham City on Saturday (4 February, kick-off 11am).
