Members of the Nottingham Forest first-team squad were on hand to give out more than 1,000 free home shirts and match tickets at this season’s first Super Sevens event.
Children in Year 2 came to The City Ground on Tuesday night to meet their heroes and pick up their Super Sevens starter kits after registering for the scheme through their schools.
Matty Cash, Joe Worrall, Ben Osborn, Thomas Lam and Dani Pinillos were all in different parts of The City Ground, delivering the kits to fans and posing for pictures.
Tuesday night was the first presentation event to be held for this season’s Super Sevens. Children who turn seven between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 are eligible for the current season’s free scheme.
Those who sign up will be invited to a presentation where they will be given Forest’s 2016-17 home shirt, two match tickets (adult and child) for a match at The City Ground and the opportunity to meet a first-team player.
Further Super Sevens presentation events will take place in due course.
