The City Ground set for Christmas extravaganza

4 December 2017

Nottingham Forest’s home fixture against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday 9th December will see The City Ground transformed into a Winter Wonderland before Mark Warburton’s side take to the pitch for the much-anticipated EFL match.

With the game being the last at home before Christmas Day itself, the club has arranged a number of special festivities to allow fans coming to the game to get into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas markets will be installed pre-match at both the Brian Clough Stand and Peter Taylor Stand serving traditional food and drink. Both stands will also have carol singers performing a range of classic Christmas hits.

For children attending the game, there will be the chance to receive one of 1,000 free Santa hats – all featuring the Forest crest – as well as meet two real-life reindeer that will be located in the Peter Taylor Stand car park.

The Bolton match kicks-off Christmas at The City Ground, with three big games taking place during December. As well as Bolton on Saturday 9th December there are mouth-watering ties against Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing Day and Sunderland on Saturday 30th December.

Each game features excellent ticket prices as well as a number of special offers. For Bolton, all Under 18 tickets are priced at just £5, meaning a parent can bring two children for a total of £32 / £34.

Adult prices for the massive Boxing Day game against Sheffield Wednesday start at just £25, whilst the visit of Sunderland on Saturday 30th December will see a special offer of a family ticket for two adults and two children costing just £50 in total.

With Christmas fixtures always proving popular with fans, tickets for all three matches are expected to sell quickly. Anyone wishing to secure their seat should visit, call 0115 9824 388 or pop along to the ticket office in person.
