Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton says his side need to step it up in order to achieve a result against Brentford on Saturday.
The Reds boss was disappointed with the two performances put in during the wins against Millwall and Shrewsbury and he knows what the side need to do when they take on The Bees.
He said: “It is a new squad that has come together and every manager will be saying the same. There has been a lot of movement during the summer with new players coming in and getting used to the style of play and the demands and expectation of a big club like Nottingham Forest.
“There are many aspects on and off the pitch that come into play and the players have to get used to it.
“I was pleased with pre-season and there are no excuses about the first two games but it is two victories. We were disappointed with the level of performance as in pre-season we were hitting those levels.
“We have analysed it and we know what we have to do and we are looking forward to Brentford.”
