Shrewsbury Town will pose Nottingham Forest a threat and boss Mark Warburton says they need to be respected ahead of tomorrow night’s Carabao Cup clash.
The Shrews visit The City Ground for the first-round tie and Warburton is aware of the threats post by the League One side.
He said: “We have full respect for Shrewsbury. They are a strong League One side and we know the threat they will pose. We will put out a strong team; there will be a number of changes but it will be a team that I would have no doubts about putting into a league game.
“Shrewsbury are a very solid side and they started with a positive result on Saturday. They are a good League One team; they are hard-working, diligent and they look to play.
“In the footage we have seen, we will have to pay them the respect they deserve, as you would do any opponent. We are ready for them, we think we know what they will present and we just need to have our A-game with us.”
