Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton has faith that his much-changed side can progress in the Carabao Cup against Shrewsbury tonight.
The Reds boss has said he will make wholesale changes to the side which beat Millwall on Friday but he has no doubts that they will be able to produce the goods against The Shrews.
He said: “We want to win every game of football and progress as far as possible in each competition and that won’t change.
“It is a game we want to win. We will be making nine or ten changes but the team we put out will be strong. We respect the competition and we want to go as far as possible but it provides invaluable pitch time for a number of players.
“The further we advance in the competition the more the fans enjoy it so it is important for us to prepare as we would for any league game.
“We will use our squad. There is no lack of belief or faith in the players and we will put out a very strong team. It is a competition which gives a good challenge for the entire squad and the match fitness they need in a competitive environment.”
