Nottingham Forest take on Middlesbrough at The City Ground tomorrow and will be looking to build on Tuesday's display at Barnsley.
Despite the defeat at Oakwell, Mark Warburton's side put in their best performance of the season and should have taken something from the game.
They will be looking to be more ruthless in front of goal when Boro visit Trentside as Garry Monk's side make the trip south after two home wins.
A 1-0 win over Sheffield United was followed by a 2-0 triumph against Burton in midweek and Boro will be looking to build some early season momentum as they seek an immediate return to the top flight.
Chris Cohen remains sidelined for The Reds as he continues his recovery from a minor knee injury.
Jamie Ward and Matty Cash remain long-term absentees but Danny Fox and Stephen Henderson are both in full training and will be pushing for a place in the squad on Saturday.
From the opposition
Middlesbrough boss Garry Monk told their official website: "We're really pleased to get back-to-back wins, runs like that can be important.
"There's a long way to go and a lot of improvements to make. There've been good periods but the team is a work in progress. The aim is to pick up results while we're still improving.
"Forest have had a good start to the season but that hasn't surprised me.
"Going off the experience of last season, I think this time out the league is going to be even more competitive.
"You have to take each game as it comes. If the players commit in the way we are and have been, I'm confident of getting results. But the league doesn't let up - we've seen that one mistake will be punished."
Tickets for Saturday's game are still available and there is expected to be another big crowd at The City Ground.
