Preview: Leeds United (H)

25 August 2017

Nottingham Forest will be looking to end the month of August with another three points against Leeds at The City Ground to continue their positive start to the season.

The Reds have won every game on home soil so far and have only suffered one defeat in their opening six games.

Mark Warburton's side come into the match on the back of the thrilling 3-2 win after extra time at Premier League Newcastle on Wednesday night and they will be keen to continue building momentum.

Leeds have also started the season well and remain unbeaten having won two and drawn two of their opening four league games, while The Whites also progressed in the Carabao Cup in the week, hitting Newport County for five at Elland Road.

Team news

Liam Bridcutt is in line to make his Nottingham Forest debut against his former club, having signed from Leeds United during the week.

David Vaughan could be in line for a recall having sat out the victory at St James' Park with a slight knock, while Andreas Bouchalakis is a doubt having hobbled out of the midweek win.

Chris Cohen, Matty Cash and Jamie Ward all remain sidelined for The Reds.
