Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce that as part of the plans to build a closer relationship with Nottingham Forest Ladies, the team will be introduced to the crowd at The City Ground during half time of Saturday’s match against Middlesbrough.
This is to show our support for the team before their new season begins.
The Club are looking to forge a closer relationship with Nottingham Forest Ladies, initially through the Nottingham Forest Community Trust which recently received a donation of £150,000 from Club owner Mr Marinakis.
The Club Chairman, Nicholas Randall QC, has welcomed the new relationship and stated that: "The Club are delighted to welcome the Nottingham Forest Ladies team to The City Ground and we look forward to building strong links between the clubs in the future. We want to wish the team all the best for the coming season."
David Shelton, Chairman of Forest Ladies, said: "We are grateful to be able to showcase our first team and introduce our players to the Forest fans prior to the launch of our season. We greatly value our growing relationship with NFFC and NFCT and look forward to a fruitful season, on and off the field, for both Forest and Forest Ladies."
