Thanks from Dexter

1 September 2016

Former Nottingham Forest striker Dexter Blackstock has sent the following message to the club's supporters after his contract came to an end.

"I will take away some great memories from my time at Nottingham Forest.

"The fans have always been supportive of me and constantly turn out in great numbers to get behind the team and for this I would like to thank them.

"I have experienced every emotion possible during my time at Forest, as have all the supporters. From the time I suffered my long-term injury to the highs of reaching the play-offs, the fans have been with me and the team every step of the way.

"I would also like to thank Fawaz for everything he has done for me. He has great passion for this club and truly wants to bring success back to The City Ground.

"Nottingham Forest is a club with great tradition, great fans and I sincerely wish everyone at the club the best of luck in the future."
