Nottingham Forest's Under 18s continued their strong run of form as they secured an impressive 6-3 victory over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
Gareth Holmes' side went into the game on the back of wins against Watford and Charlton and picked up another three points courtesy of goals from Connor Smith (2), Yassine En-Neyah (2), Kyle McClean and Jake Taylor.
The margin of victory may have seemed comfortable for The Reds but Holmes says his side had to work extremely hard and show an excellent level of application to walk away with the victory.
He said: "It was a really pleasing afternoon for us. The lads did a lot of good stuff both with and without the ball and they showed a good intensity throughout the 90 minutes and ultimately that earned us the three points."
Forest will hope to make it four straight wins next weekend when they travel to Crewe Alexandra (Saturday 8 October, kick-off 11am).
