Nottingham Forest have a trio of first-team players away on international duty this week.
Vladimir Stojkovic (Serbia), Apostolos Vellios (Greece) and Thomas Lam (Finland) have all been called up to take part in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers which take place between Thursday 6 and Tuesday 11 October.
Goalkeeper Stojkovic has enjoyed an impressive first month at The City Ground and that form continued as he played the full 90 minutes in Serbia's victories over Moldova and Austria, keeping a clean sheet in the first game.
Finland have ambitions of qualifying from a difficult group and although defender Lam was an unused substitute for their 3-2 defeat in Iceland on Thursday evening, he did play the final 25 minutes of their game against Croatia on Sunday.
Apostolos Vellios played 20 minutes in Greece's first qualifier last month and the Forest striker will want to continue his good form in front of goal when his country face Cyprus and Estonia in the coming days.
