Britt Assombalonga and Henri Lansbury were on hand to meet Blue Bell Hill Primary School students today ahead of the Kids for a Quid clash with Queens Park Rangers.
Students were tasked with creating the design for the front page of the Junior Reds programme for the match, with five students’ work selected as runner-ups and one lucky pupil having their work printed on the front cover.
The pair spoke to students and offered tips as they created their drawings, and also answered questions from pupils ranging from what their biggest achievement in football is to what they like to eat for dinner.
Both players are set to be involved for the game on Saturday, with all under 12 child tickets costing just £1. Each participating student from the class at Blue Bell Hill was also given a pair of tickets to Saturday's game.
