Nottingham Forest full back Eric Lichaj hopes the team can ‘end the season on a high’ at MK Dons next week.
The American was pleased to be part of the team that extended their unbeaten run with a draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday.
And now he has his sights set on next weekend – and beyond.
Speaking after yesterday’s match, Lichaj said: “We had chances to kill them off but Gary took his goal well and we’re unbeaten in our last four games. Hopefully we can get a win in the last one.
“It’s been tough with the way results have gone but hopefully we can end on a high, get everyone ready for next season and hopefully do something special then.”
Lichaj admitted the side needs to be more clinical in future.
He said: “We created a lot but we just need to bury our chances. At the back we don’t give too much away, as you could see – I think Wolves had one chance, which Dozza couldn’t get to.
“If we can get some more goals next season I’m sure we’ll be up there towards the end.”
