Under 18s: Forest 4-1 Colchester

Nottingham Forest's Under 18s made it eight consecutive league victories with a commanding 4-1 home win over Colchester United on Saturday afternoon.

Jack Lester's side had been in fantastic form heading into the game and kept their lead at the top of Professional Development League Two North with another positive result.

Jake Taylor opened the scoring for The Reds after only ten minutes before Virgil Gomis doubled the advantage on the hour mark as Forest took control of the contest.

Ben Brereton added gloss to the scoreline with a four-minute brace shortly after as The Reds recorded an impressive victory at the Nigel Doughty Academy.

Forest are next in action on Saturday (19 March) when they make the journey to Bristol City (kick-off 12pm).
