Host families required

15 June 2016

Nottingham Forest are looking for host families to accommodate academy players aged between 16 and 21.

The club are looking for families within a 20-minute radius of the Nigel Doughty Academy.

Forest are committed to equal opportunities as well as safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk. Any applicant wishing to be considered as a host family will need to demonstrate that they are able to share this commitment.

The placements vary from short to long-term, with some specialist accommodation, offering short-notice limited accommodation for trialists and holiday cover for other host families. The player will need a room of their own and to be provided with breakfast and an evening meal.

If you are interested in applying to provide a caring ‘home from home’, please be aware that this position is subject to interviews with club staff, a clear DBS disclosure being received for all those aged over 16 that live in the property and satisfactory references being received for each applicant. In return, the club will offer a monthly payment to cover expenses incurred for the duration of the placement.
