Under 18s 2-1 Hull City

30 January 2016

Nottingham Forest kept their seven-point gap at the top of Professional Development League Two North with a 2-1 win over Hull City on Saturday.

Jack Lester's side ran out winners at the Nigel Doughty Academy thanks to goals from Ben Brereton and Kieran Hayes despite seeing Jordan Gabriel sent off three minutes into the second half.

Marc Kelledy struck late on for the Tigers but Forest held on to make it ten matches without defeat which sets them up perfectly for Thursday night's FA Youth Cup fifth-round tie against Liverpool at The City Ground.

Forest: J.Wright, Gabriel, Nielsen, Iacovitti, Crookes (Gomis 80'), Otim, Edser, Yates (c), Hayes (Gamblen 50'), McDonagh, Brereton (Adams 50')
