Under 18s: Bolton 1-2 Forest

22 February 2016

Nottingham Forest Under 18s achieved a sixth straight league victory courtesy of a 2-1 win at Bolton Wanderers.

Kyle McClean gave Forest the lead with his second goal in as many matches after Wanderers had failed to clear a free-kick as the home side were left to rue a number of missed opportunities.

They did manage to find an equaliser in the second half though as substitute Luca Navarro curled the ball into the net past Jordan Wright from the edge of the area.

The Reds didn't let that disappointment hang over them for long as Virgil Gomis slotted the ball home with nine minutes remaining to strengthen Forest's position at the top of the Professional Development League Two North.

Jack Lester's side are next in action when they travel to Millwall on Saturday 5 March (kick-off 12pm) when they will be aiming for a seventh consecutive league win.

Forest: J.Wright, Diallo (Charlesworth 65'), Re, Jemson, Yates (c), Taylor (Smith 80'), Adams, Edser, Brereton, Hayes, McClean (Gomis 75')
