Nottingham Forest would like to give a shoutout to one of the club's supporters, Simon Litchfield, who has been completing a number of long-distance runs for different charities.Simon has been a Forest fan and a local lad all his life and has travelled around Europe watching The Reds, a passion which started out by watching some games as a youngster with his late father.
His inspirational attitude has helped him complete 16 half-marathons in 14 months including the ones in Nottingham, Birmingham, Derby and Manchester as well as the Great North Run which took place in the home of Friday's opponents Newcastle United.
Simon has been raising money for the likes of Mind, Scope and the Roy Stone Foundation and he is now one of the Forest and Derby supporters who will be making the run from The City Ground to the iPro Stadium later this month. For more information or to make a donation, please visit Simon's Just Giving page here - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Simon-Litchfield2.
All at Nottingham Forest would like to wish Simon all the best with his continued fundraising.
