Forest to hold minute's silence against Newcastle

2 December 2016

Nottingham Forest will be holding a minute’s silence before the match with Newcastle United on Friday night following the tragic plane crash in Colombia this week.

Members of the Brazilian Serie A football team Chapecoense were on board the aircraft and were among the 71 people that died in the crash on Monday as the plane travelled to Medellin in Colombia.
The team were due to play against Atletico Nacional in the final of the Copa Sudamericana on Wednesday and 19 players were among those that died.
Both sets of players will also be wearing black armbands for the match at The City Ground as the football community comes together to pay tribute to those who lost their lives.
