Nottingham Forest have completed the loan signing of Nicolao Dumitru from Napoli while Mustapha Carayol has signed a permanent deal at The City Ground.
Dumitru has arrived on Trentside on a season-long loan deal while Carayol, who represents Gambia at international level, has a signed a two-year contract with The Reds.
24-year-old Dumitru, who was born in Sweden but has represented Italy at Under 19 and Under 20 level, has joined up with Forest for the remainder of the 2016-17 season.
The forward made his debut for then-Italian Serie B side Empoli at the age of 16 before making the move to Napoli in 2010. He has since been loaned out to a host of Italian sides and has also spent a season on loan at Greek Super League side PAE Veira.
Carayol has made over 150 appearances in English football most notably with Middlesbrough and Leeds United, and has also enjoyed loan spells at fellow Sky Bet Championship sides Brighton and Hove Albion and Huddersfield Town.
The 27-year-old midfielder, who can play on either wing, has represented his country in the recent 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
