Last season's League One champions Wigan Athletic are this afternoon's visitors to The City Ground as Nottingham Forest seek to get back to winning ways (kick-off 3pm).
Nottingham Forest will hope to enjoy some home comforts this afternoon as they look to respond to back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Brentford by beating Wigan Athletic at The City Ground.
The newly-promoted Latics have made a positive start to life back in the second tier, beating Blackburn Rovers 3-0 and drawing 1-1 with Birmingham City last week and will carry good momentum into today's clash.
Forest's last home game, a 4-3 win over Burton Albion on the opening day, saw some free-flowing football and plenty of goals and Philippe Montanier will hope his side can produce a similar display against Gary Caldwell's men.
Forest defender Damien Perquis is suspended for today's game after his sending off at Brentford in midweek so Michael Mancienne, Matt Mills and Thomas Lam could be battling to take the two centre-back spots.
Britt Assombalonga could return to the starting line-up following the birth of his daughter while Oliver Burke may also start the game after only appearing for the final 25 minutes at Griffin Park on Tuesday.
Wigan will be without the injured Donervon Daniels, Andy Kellett, Reece James and Kyle Knoyle but new signings Luke Garbutt and Jordi Gomez are expected to play at least some part at The City Ground.

As the man who shot to fame in the summer after having a song created in his honour, Will Grigg enjoyed a stunning 2015-16 campaign.
The Northern Ireland international bagged 28 goals last season as Wigan picked up the League One title, 20 of those coming after Christmas.
Formerly of Walsall and Brentford, Grigg’s career has taken off in some style and he scored a stunning goal in Wigan’s 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers last weekend.
Adam Bogdan: “The City Ground is great, there is a lot of history surrounding the place and the expectation of the home supporters every season is something you sense when you play against them.
“We have to concentrate on our game; in the last two games we have shown that we have a very good way of playing and keeping the ball – we had nearly 70% of the possession on Tuesday night.
“Of course it will be harder away from home, especially with the pressure of the home support, however we have to stick to our game and if we do it well, I think we can hurt teams.”
