Nottingham Forest defender Danny Fox visited patients at Nottingham City Hospital’s CF Wolfson centre yesterday.
Fox, who continues to perform his ambassadorial role for the Cystic Fibrosis charity, spent time with patients at the centre and had a chat with them ahead of the new season.
He gave out a number of gifts to patients at the centre, including signed shirts and matchday programmes, whilst he also left a number of children’s shirt for the centre’s staff to pass on to family and friends as a thank you for their continued hard work and support.
Darren Sills, Lead Adult Cystic Fibrosis Dietician for the centre said: "It was great to see Nottingham Forest visiting the Wolfson CF Centre because there is a huge emphasis on benefits of exercise in keeping people with CF healthy and fit.
"We are very aware of the work Danny does as an Ambassador for the CF charity so for him to come and visit was great for patients to have an informal chat.
"Danny talked about having a friend with CF and how different the Wolfson CF Centre is from other units he has visited."
Attached are a few pictures from Danny’s visit to the centre.
