Andy Reid says it will be a case of Nottingham Forest picking up where they left off when they host Wolves on Saturday.
The Reds will bring their home campaign to a close with the visit of Kenny Jackett’s men.
And, on the back of an excellent 3-1 win at Fulham last weekend, Reid is hoping to see a continuation of Forest’s Craven Cottage performance.
He told Forest Player HD: “We’re going to have to keep doing the things we’ve been doing. We’ve been working hard, we’ve kept a solid shape, when we win the ball back we keep possession and, at the right times, get men in the box.
“We feel with the ability we’ve got in our squad we’re capable of beating anyone in the league and I think we’ve shown that at times.”
Reid revealed that Michael Mancienne returned to full training today and that Britt Assombalonga continues to tick along nicely. David Vaughan and Jamie Ward are no closer to a return, however.
And, whichever players are selected on Saturday, Reid hopes they will produce a performance the home fans can be proud of ahead of the summer break.
He said: “We gave the fans something to cheer about on Saturday with the performance and result and we’re hopeful we can do the same with the home fans.
“They turn up in their numbers and at times they could have got on the players’ backs a lot more than they have.
“We’re very grateful for that.”
