Kelvin Wilson believes Nottingham Forest’s performance this afternoon was the best of their past three, despite defeat at the hands of Middlesbrough.
The defender was upbeat after the game and felt The Reds deserved something
out of the clash.
Speaking to Forest Player, he said: “A draw would have been a fair result, maybe we even deserved a win, but we take it on the chin. The performance was a good one and we have to go again on Thursday.
“I think we put in a better performance than we have in the last two games which we won. We can take that away from it.”
New signings Nelson Oliveira, Chris O’Grady, Ryan Mendes and Jonny Williams all made their first home appearances in a Forest shirt and Wilson said they can only get better.
“We will all improve as we get to know each other better. The more games Nelson and Ryan play in English football the better they will get too.”
